Sent us other peoples items and then send a second company who didn't even move any of our stuff to be able to examine it didnt even open any of the boxes that the contaminated clothes etc are in. Then they send another company who specialize in asbestos and this company didn't even know what fiberglass looks like under a scope. Report states THEY ARE UNABLE TO COMMENT ON FIBERS AS NOT TRAINED TO DO SO but aviva deadlock the complaint and i haven't even had chance to send any of our proofs in yet.

Meanwhile we were sick too and we didn't want further damage to our Toronto home. We went ahead and paid to restore the heat and now AVIVA refuses to pay for the costs. AVIVA is the worst insurance company, as they don't provide any insurance! Don't insure with them - they won't be there when you need them. I never write reviews but this experience has been so horrible that I am compelled to write this review to hopefully help someone else out.

I manage my own investments but this is impossible with Aviva as they continually close funds, replacing them presumably with funds that pay them better commission - certainly the performance is shabby. And they have closed high performing funds and also funds I only recently invested in losing me money. Not only that but they have not provided any valuations since Feb 2020 on the basis there is a suspended property fund in the holdings - all my other providers can cope.
Terrible customer service
Although a rather long process it was easy to follow and changes were easy to make to compare the cost of different options. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us - We don't want our customer to be left feeling disappointed. I'm sorry but I'm of the old school and do very little online and certainly not something as important as my car and house insurance.
